A complete beginner's guide — everything you need to know before your first game.
Airsoft is a tactical team game where participants use realistic-looking model guns that fire 6mm plastic pellets. Unlike paintball, the pellets are lightweight and small — a hit is felt as a light touch, rarely leaving marks. Airsoft is primarily an honour-based sport: each player calls their own hits, making honesty and sportsmanship the most important values.
The airsoft community in Estonia is growing rapidly — events are organised all over the country, from Tallinn and Tartu to smaller regions like Elva, Haapsalu and Rakvere. N.A.C. (Naissaare Airsoft Club) is one of the leading airsoft organisers in Estonia.
Airsoft equipment is divided into two main categories: guns and protective gear. The most popular guns are electric (AEG — Automatic Electric Gun), which are reliable in all weather conditions. The most important protective item is the full-face mask — mandatory for all players throughout the game.
Airsoft is a safe sport when safety rules are followed. All guns are chronographed before each event to ensure they do not exceed the allowed velocity. Face masks are mandatory at all times on the field. Experienced marshals supervise every game to ensure rules are followed.
🎂 Age requirement: Airsoft events are open to players aged 13 and above. Younger participants may join private events with parental consent and supervision.
Absolutely not! Airsoft is open to everyone — regardless of age, fitness level or previous experience. Every N.A.C. event starts with a safety briefing. Experienced players are always happy to help newcomers, and every beginner is warmly welcome!
Join a public event or book a private game for your group. We welcome everyone!
